One of just four perfume bottles, I’m delighted Violet won an honourable mention in the International Perfume Bottle Awards. Blown by @ewalkerglassart , the perfume vessels are petit versions of their larger decanter cousins. The Rose stopper is made from my hand made billets to create the swirls of Violet through white. This is ‘Queen’ Alexandra, masterfully blown by @ewalkerglassart wearing the most intricate crown I’ve yet created. I make the ‘hat stands’ to fit the crown’s stopper, so it can rest safely while the vessel is being poured.
I’m an Arts and Crafts collector. I use my mirrors, jardiniere, lamps and glassware every day and never tire of the craftsmanship that went into creating them. Rose Couture vessels are created to be handled as much as they are intended as characterful works of sculptural art with delicious purpose. What are your thoughts? Agree? Disagree?
